.: Megan Crain lives in NYC and is a professional in the mediums of Musical Theatre, Commercial/Film work, Jazz /Blues vocals with live combos as well as studio recording, and classical vocal music for various weddings and other private events.

Megan started singing on a bench next to her Mom at the piano and her Grandpa on the guitar. Her original repertoire began with Elvis Presley and Billie Holiday songs and she is still drawn to the influence of soulful music. She went on to attain high training in many musical facets such as Piano, French Horn, and Vocal Performance and attained state and national recognition for her accomplishments, including IMEA State Vocal Jazz soloist (conductor Kirk Marcy) and NFAA Regional Winner, National Contestant, 2001 (coach Nina Murano).

Megan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Millikin University in 2006 with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Dance. While at Millikin, she studied abroad in London where she focused on Theatre and English and trained in dance at Pineapple Studios. In 2006 she was honored with the Ron Smith Award for Excellence in Musical Theatre.

After graduating, Megan used her skills to support her love of travel and performed as a lead vocalist on Holland America Cruise Line’s ms Maasdam. She continues to train in NY in Voice, Dance, and Acting (Susan Campochiaro Confrey). Megan is available for ongoing employment.
